Something related to Passwords

Your password is more than just a key to your computer or online account. If your password falls with the wrong person, he can impersonate you easily !  and make your life hell by exploiting your personal information. So follow the following principles for your Password.

  • Password: Longer is stronger
  • You would not share your ATM pin, so why would you share your password?
  • Password are like tooth brushes. They are best when new and should never be shared.
  • When passwords are heard, losses are incurred
  • Change your passwords at least every 30 days.
  • password is the most common password used in 2009
  • Minimum 8 characters are recommended
  • Derive complex characters from your usual passwords e.g instead of using accounts you can use @cc0unts”

Places Not to Hide Your Password

  • On a white board in your office
  • On the top of your desk
  • On a sticky note on your PC’s monitor.

Degree attestation process for foreign country employment in Pakistan

Following are the steps which one need to follow for degree attestation in order to qualify for a Visa for foreign employment opportunity, I hope this may help you
 1. Fillout HEC degree attestation form by following the steps mentioned at http://das.hec. gov.pk/
2. Print the HEC degree attestation form and go to FedEx head office at Shara-e-Faisal (near Lal Kothi)
3. You'll need to submit your original copies of Matriculation marks sheet and Intermediate marks sheet (or equivalent certificates) alongwith FAST final marks sheet and degree. FedEx doesn't accept documents after 2:00 pm!
4. FedEx will take approx. one week to get attested your degree from HEC.
5. After having attested your degree from HEC, you will need to attest it from Minitry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
6. To have attested your degree from MOFA, take original copy of your degree attested from HEC and go to UPS (United Parcel Service) at Tariq Road.
7. UPS will take one week to gets your degree attested from MOFA. Alternatively, you can go yourself to MOFA which is located near FTC at Shara-e-Faisal and get attested your degree in one day!
8. After having attested your degree from HEC and MOFA, you'll need to have attested it from the embassy of the country where you are going to work. Check with the embassy which courier service they entertain for degree attestation. I think UPS can get your degree attested from almost all embassies in Pakistan.
9. Now you are done with getting attested your degree from Pakistan.
10. After reaching in the foreign country, you will need to have your degree attested from MOFA of that country. This is last stamp you'll have on your degree. After that, you'll be eligible for the work permit.
